How did THE REZIDENTZ become a band?!?!?

Well, here is the semi-long story on how we started this band. It started in the winter of 2002. When Gonzo met this guy named Joey(who was the brother of david soon to be guitarist in band). Joey had found out that Gonzo had a drum set and Joey was a drummer too. Joey really wanted to play Gonzo's kit. So Gonzo asked if he would like to come over and play his kit. Later that week Joey called up Gonzo and came over with his brother David. They skated for a little while then Joey asked if he could play the kit. Gonzo said sure. Aftyer a while of Joeys drumming David asked Gonzo to playu something. Gonzo played something for David and Joy. David and Joey were amazed on how such a little man could play this good. David asked he wanted to join a band that he was in with another guy that played bass named Lance Feider. The very next David ,Joey, and Lance came over to see Gonzo play drums. Lance was so impressed with the way Gonzo played drums and knew right off the bat, that this was the serious drummer that they were looking for. So they recuted Gonzo into the band. AFter aout 5 practices they wanted to rock the neighborhood. SO they moved evrything to the front of the garage. And turned upp all the amps to 12 and played the first song ever written by them called ,"Tortilla". The music was so loud that birds went deaf. The old lady across the street had come over and yelled at us. And luckily for Joeys political speech we didn't get the cops called on us again. We didn't have a name for the band, and we needed one really badly. So David saw a sign from one of Gonzos earlier bands called "The Residents". We thought how perfect is this name for us. But later we found out that is was another bands name. So instead of the S's we used Z's. We wanted to have a show but no where to play. So we went to the local liquor store and asked to play there. We said yeah. But one problem no singer. So one day David brought over his brother Thomas to a practice. He loved the band and wanted to get in it. SO we put him at the singing position. Another problem Thomas wasn't there all the time so we made a tape and gave to Thomas to practice everynight. Then we finally we had our show and it went really well, but then our friend Lance dropped out of the band and wwe didnt have a bassist for several months, we didn't have Thomas as our signer either he had to drop out for confidential reasons. We (david and gonzo) kept practicing and writting smarter more complex and difficult music to play, then along the way David and I were talking while playing video games about shows and how we needed a bass player to be in the band to put on a really kick ass show. SO we kept on talking about it and about how we needed one so we kept going back and forth between letting Lance back in the band and a friend of our to be in the band. But we knew Lance longger and he was a good friend to both of us so we have been playing with Lance and he has made so much improvments in playing bass. Thats all soo far keep checking up and watch this history grow over the next year that this band is together.
