Q & A with David:

1) Who inspires you to write good music?

Mostly, my older brother Joey because he gives me good ideas for sick ass guitar riffs and he tells me that my songs that I write are good. So, I write songs that I know he will enjoy. Second, my girlfriend Brittany because I think of her and I get some real awsome lyrics in my head and I write them down. After that, it's all a matter of minutes before I can come up with a guitar riff that will fit the way I want the lyrics to be sang. The last person that inspires me to write good music is Oscar's dad, Mr. Gonzalez. He ispires me because he is full of many good ideas and he runs them by the band. If he wants a song written a specific way, he tells us and we get on it. If he wants a softly played song, we do it and he likes it. Song writing, to me, is all about the sound that other people want.

2) What is you current dating status?

Well, right now, I am with the most awsome girl to hang out and be with, Brittany Gaunt. We've been going out for about seven months. She supports me through everything that I do no matter what it is and i love her for that.

3) How long have you been plying guitar/drumz?

I started playing guitar and drumz when I was 13 years old, so I've been playing both for about 2 1/2 years.

4) Why did you start playing guitar?

I started playing because I had nothing better to do, so I picked up the guitar and started to teach myself. Since then, I haven't gotten tired of it. I play every day and I will forever. Also, my older brother Joey started playing and I picked it up every once in a while and played.

5) What kind of guitar was your first Acoustic and Electric?

My first Acoustic was this crappy old Mexican guitar called Paracho and my fisrt Electric was an Ibanez GAX70.

6) Who are your friends?

My best friends in the world are Oscar and Brian. My girlfriend is Brittany. Then comes Lindsey, my brother Joey & Erica , Will & Ashlee. Nate, Scott and the rest of A Shattered Hope. Naz and Chrissy and Naz.

7) Who is/are your idol(s)?

Bert McCracken and Quinn Allman from The Used

8) What are your favorite foods?

Chiz Cake, Spaghetti O's, Lasagna, Spaghetti, Pizza, ALL Mexican Food, Oreos, Chips Ahoy!, In 'N Out Double Double and Fries.

9)What are your favorite drinks?

Cherry Coke, Pepsi, Sprite, Root Beer, and basically any soda. Chocolate Milk, Strawberry Milk, Orange Juice, and Apple Juice.

10) What is your favorite song of all time?

"Listening" -off of the new album from The Used!!!

11) People you're mad at?

No one, i just can't see my forehead!

The Rezidentz, The Used, Story of the Year, Avenged Sevenfold, Atreyu, The Deftones, Korn,Bleeding Through , Bleed the Dream, A Shattered Hope, The Chemistry,  System of a Down, and Smile Empty Soul.
